Shell declines to comment on smear about Danish refinery

Crossbridge Energy conducted a thorough inspection of the Fredericia refinery prior to the acquisition, says spokesperson from Shell, who declines to respond to sharply worded criticism aired in an internal email sent by a Shell communications person.

As EnergyWatch reported Wednesday, it has emerged that an employee of Shell’s communications department, Steve Lesher, referred to the Fredericia refinery sold only months prior to Crossbridge Energy as ”a piece of crap” in an internal email from last year.
