Italian oil giant nears fivefold bottom-line increase

Despite a production drop, Eni has managed to lift revenues markedly during the third quarter thanks to its international business.

While it is true that Eni’s oil and gas production went down 7% compared to the same time last year, making for 1.58 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in Q3, the barrels produced, containing either oil or gas, have been worth much more this year.
