Shell buys Danish biogas supplier from investor consortium in billion-euro deal

A consortium called the NGF Partnership, consisting of Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, Pioneer Point Partners, and Sampension, have closed a sales agreement with Shell Petroleum NV, a fully owned subsidiary of Shell plc., which will take over 100% interest of Danish renewable natural gas (RNG) supplier Nature Energy, the transaction’s parties reported in a statement on Monday evening.
