Maersk Supply Service and Alcatel Submarine Networks have been awarded an extensive supply and installation contract for a Permanent Reservoir Monitoring (PRM) system on the giant Mero field in Brazilian waters.

The PRM is used to monitor and optimize oil production from the field.
