On Monday, the Russian President Vladimir Putin extends retaliation on the price cap on Russian oil and oil products implemented by Western countries until end-2023.

News agency Reuters reports that the decision was announced via a presidential decree on an official government website.

In December, Putin signed off on a decree banning sales of Russian oil and oil products for countries which had implemented a price cap on Russian oil.
