Wintershall Dea restructures and lays off 500

Around 300 jobs are being cut from the home turf in Germany in a restructuring that will save millions of euros annually.

”We have adjusted our corporate strategy in line with the changing energy sector and our exit from Russia, and we are now refocusing our organizational structure accordingly,” reads a statement by Wintershall Dea’s CEO Mario Mehren.
