BBC: Emirates planned to use COP28 to strike oil and gas deals

Leaked documents show that the hosts of COP28 intended to use the summit to strike oil deals, according to the BBC.

The hosts of the upcoming climate summit COP28, the United Arab Emirates, had planned to use meetings with foreign leaders at COP28 to make deals to sell oil and gas, according to documents obtained by British broadcaster BBC.
