Equinor acquitted in large claim from Transocean

Transocean claimed more than NOK 8m after helicopter delays to the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Equinor and Transocean have, among other issues, disagreed on whether the delays in helicopter transportation to the rigs Transocean Spitsbergen and Transocean Norge, which were triggered by the national guards strike in 2020, could be called a so-called force majeure event as defined in the contracts.
