Shipping companies unite to fight for fossil fuel fee

A plan will be presented to the IMO in a few months’ time to apply fees to fossil fuels which will be used to subsidize green fuels, bridging the price gap.

15 major shipping companies are currently working hard to produce a number of examples of how the price difference between cheap, black fuels and expensive, green alternatives can be bridged.
