
The owners of the large Shorouk concession in the Mediterranean have gained a new companion as Russian Rosneft has paid Italy's Eni USD 1.13 billion for a 30 percent stake in the area, Eni announced Monday.
The concession concerns the large gas discovery Zohr, which is the biggest ever in the Mediterranean.
