Aker Solutions continues to struggle with lousy market

The sluggish market for companies, which service the oil industry, dealt more blows to Aker Solutions in the fourth quarter. The bottom line shows a big loss, prompting management to drop dividends.

Lack of work in the oil industry continues to cause problems for service company Aker Solutions.

In the fourth quarter, the offshore company, which is part of Kjell Inge Røkke's Aker Group, had to cash in another big deficit while revenue also took a dive.
