Maersk reportedly close to Iraqi oil field deal

Bloomberg reports that Maersk Oil is close to signing a development contract with Iraqi oil company NIOC.

Maersk Oil will "soon" be about to sign a development contract with state-owned Iraqi oil company NIOC, reports Bloomberg News.

The information comes from Iraqi news agency Mehr, which quotes the country's deputy oil minister Ali Kardor as saying that the parties have made a deal.
