
The tax deal between the Danish government and oil companies based in the North Sea has not yet been presented. The agreement should have been issued to the members of Danish Parliament on Tuesday at 2pm (CET), but Maersk and the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) pulled out just half an hour before, reports Danish newspaper Børsen.
The newspaper reports that the members in the meeting were not certain why Maersk and DUC pulled out. But it concerns several aspects in the DKK 2.5 billion (EUR 336 million) tax relief to be issued until 2021, which remains to be negotiated.
