Wind turbines to help recover oil

A wind project supplying electricity to oil platforms has just rounded its first phase. So far, the project has been successful.

The project Win Win (WINd Powered Water INjection) has just completed its first phase and the result is that wind power can be used to produce electricity for the water injections to the oil platform.

Long story short, the Win Win project involves a floating wind turbine which supplies electricity for a normal water injection process.
