DNB on oil price: Good times in store for 2020

The price for a barrel of North Sea crude will rise ahead of 2020, predicts oil analyst at DNB Markets, Torbjørn Kjus. The analyst has lowered his estimate but is overall more positive than other industry stakeholders.

When we arrive in 2020, it might start being fun to be in the oil sector, says Torbjørn Kjus, Norwegian oil analyst with DNB Markets, in a new, comprehensive report about the development on the oil market over the next five years.

All in all, DNB has a positive outlook on the price for a barrel of North Sea crude oil ahead of 2020, although Kjus has changed his estimate for the price development, as many other analysts have done as well.
