Surging demand for staff in Norwegian offshore

Norwegian recruiting agencies are now reporting a surge in demand from oil and gas companies as the oil price stabilizes. But demand is still much lower than before the crisis.

The Norwegian oil and gas sector now needs more engineers, consultants, and other workers, as the oil price is stabilizing and the companies are spending money again.

Agencies in Norway which provide staff to the country's large offshore sector, were among the first to be hit when the oil price plunged in the summer of 2014.
