EU slaps Denmark with tough reductions demands
Denmark must reduce its CO2 emissions in the non-quota sector by 39 percent relative to 2005.

The EU's climate minister and the European Parliament have agreed on how much each individual country should contribute to CO2 reduction efforts in the non-ETS sectors (construction, transport and agriculture), sectors which make up almost 60 percent of the EU's CO2 emissions.
