Cost of meeting Copenhagen's climate targets will double

The municipality of Copenhagen's aim to be carbon neutral by 2025 seems to be challenged.

The municipality of Copenhagen seems to be far from reaching its target to become CO2 neutral in 2025. According to Danish media Berlingske, a new evaluation of the municipality's climate initiative, KBH 2025, shows that 200, 000 excess tons of CO2 will be emitted this year, while the bill for the initiative will be twice as high as planned.
