Trump extends lifetime of coal plants

With a new proposal, the US Environmental Protection Agency will extend the lifespan of hundreds of coal power stations in the US. The proposal has been expected since Trump became president.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a new proposal which will weaken regulation of coal plants and which could extend operations on the plants, reports industry media Recharge.
