Danish foreign minister: Gas directive does not mean Danish approval for Nord Stream

The foreign minister welcomes the new gas directive which will place Nord Stream 2 under EU rules, but maintains that parties should not bank on Danish approval of its application for the gas pipeline.

Last night, the EU agreed on a new gas directive. The EU Parliament and Commission have developed a text which allegedly resembles the one the EU Council agreed on last Friday after a German / French battle about semantics.
