Danish pension fund divests from seven firms to hit internal climate aims

Danish pension fund PFA's CO2 emissions from portfolio assets were excessive, and now the company follows the example of other domestic institutional investors by divesting equities in several coal companies.

PFA is selling its stakes in seven coal companies to meet its internal climate change mitigation target. The pension fund's equity divestments are worth a total of EUR 8 million.
