EU investment bank ejects fossil energy companies

The European Investment Bank, owned by EU member states, will no longer fund fossil fuel ventures from 2021.

As of 2021, the European Investment Bank (EIB) will no longer supply credit to businesses involved with fossil fuels, EIB Vice President Andrew McDowell tells Reuters.
