Danske Bank wants to reach EUR 13bn in sustainable investments

In connection with its annual report, Danske Bank has announced that it will increase its focus on supporting the transition to a greener society.

According to a press release, Danske Bank will allocate over EUR 13 billion (DKK 100 billion) to sustainable financing by 2023 and Danica Pension will make investments in companies that support the transition to a greener society worth EUR 4 billion (DKK 30 billion).  At the same time, the bank will reduce its CO2 emissions by 75 percent compared to the levels in 2010.
