Power plant sets new direction, quits coal

The UK's largest plant is preparing to drop coal entirely as of 2021.

Coal-fired power generation needs to end, according to leaders at the UK's biggest power plant, Drax Power Station, located close to Selby, North Yorkshire. According to CNBC, the decision will cost 200-230 employees their jobs.
