Germany to quintuple offshore wind energy by 2040

Today, a law was approved making way for Germany to increase its offshore wind capacity from 7.5 GW to 40 GW toward 2040.

Germany wants to quintuple the country's offshore wind energy by 2040 as part of its plan to lead the nation away from fossil fuels and toward green energy, writes Bloomberg News.
