EU enters green transitional phase with Paris to the West and gas to the East

A revision of the criteria for which European energy infrastructure is eligible for subsidy will ensure that future projects are in line with the Paris accord. However, this time won't see natural gas removed from the equation, says Morten Helveg, who sees the gas as a necessary part of the EU's transition to a future with zero emissions.
