Nord Stream 2 opponents leverage Russian poisoning case
Interested parties from Ukraine and Germany seek to use Nord Stream 2 to pressure Moscow after the poisoning of a leading political figure and activist in the Russian opposition.
"Aggression against Ukraine, Georgia, use of chemical weapon in the UK, poisoning of Alexei Navalny. What more proof is needed to abandon Nord Stream 2? Unequivocally NS2 is not a commercial project but yet another Russian political trap," writes state organization Mission of Ukraine to the European Union in a Twitter post.
