German network agency starts fine cases against three energy traders

The country's electrical network imbalances from last year have once again led to warnings issued to energy traders, with Germany's network authority now launching fine proceedings against a series of traders and involving several million euros.

Three events occurred in June of 2019, when substantial network frequency imbalances on the German power grid and now result in the federal network authority, Bundeznetsagentur, opening administrative fines proceedings against three energy traders based on suspected market manipulation.
