Summer study: Concrete absorbs atmospheric carbon dioxide

Around one third of the CO₂ emitted in connection with cement production is later absorbed into concrete, a new analysis shows.

Similar to the climatologically beneficial trait of trees, concrete can apparently also capture ambient CO₂.
