Political majority favors municipal wind energy veto in Norway
With the Labour Party's votes, the Norwegian parliament has a majority in favor of municipalities' autonomy regarding applications for new wind energy.

Norway's Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet) supports a demand that municipalities be given the opportunity to process new applications for wind farms in accordance with planning and construction legislation. With the party's support, there's now a majority in favor of the proposal, writes domestic media Aftenposten.
