Texas deep freeze delivers Macquarie USD 210m windfall

The Australian investment bank has gleaned a tidy sum off last week's extreme cold weather and resulting price fluctuations in Texas.

The Texas deep freeze that upended the US energy market has delivered Macquarie Group Ltd. a windfall of as much as AUD 270m (USD 210m) amid wild gyrations in gas and electricity prices.
