Green sector stocks plunge at dizzying speed

Ørsted and other green equities have lost a third of their value. The green momentum is fizzling out for now, conclude two chief strategists.

After a successful year, green stocks shares have seen a steady decline in value, leading strategy analysts to conclude that the great climate moment appears to be fizzling out for the time being.

Companies specializing in green energy and climate initiatives were among the big winners during the Covid-19 crisis, but since the end of January, several of such equities have taken a dive.
