US threatens Nord Stream 2 affiliates with new sanctions

All entities partaking in the development of the Russian-German natural gas pipeline should withdraw, says US state secretary.

The US government is threatening to impose a new set of sanctions on companies participating in the Nord Stream 2 project, meant to supply European countries with natural gas from Russia.
