Merkel and Norwegian prime minister prepare to open Nordlink

Thursday, May 27, German-Norwegian interconnector Nordlink will be opened by the two heads of government.

The subsea interconnector between Germany and Norway spanning 623 kilometers is mere weeks away from officially opening. May 27, a digital broadcast featuring German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg is set to mark this very event, states Norwegian transmission system operator Statnett.
