Rambøll to provide risk assessment on project Greensand: "A significant job for us"

Consulting engineering firm Rambøll is among 29 participants in Danish CCS project Greensand, which aims to commence a pilot project near the end of this year. The decision on a large-scale project will be made during 2023 following Rambøll's risk assessment, says director of Engineering Methods division.

"This project is well in line with what Rambøll wants; to support the transition from fossil fuels to something more sustainable," says Asmus Dalsgård Nielsen, Rambøll's director of Engineering Methods, shortly after the announcement that Danish carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project Greensand is expected to launch at the end of 2021.
