
European energy prices continue to rise, causing concern in many of the continent's nations hosting residents hard-pressed to pay costlier bills – and this has not gone unnoticed in EU circles.
While not originally set as a point to address, the surging prices have nonetheless appeared on the agenda of Wednesday's meeting of EU institutions – both at a summit in Slovenia, a ministerial meeting in Luxembourg, and at an EU Parliament congregation in Strasbourg.
