International heavyweights invest big in high-risk Danish climate fund

Major players such as BMW, Toyota and Credit Suisse have now invested capital in Danish climate fund 2150 – and battled it out for the chance.

Money is pouring into Danish climate fund 2150, a high-risk pool of investment cash aiming to turbocharge development of new technologies for the future's carbon-neutral cities. Weighty international players like BMW, Toyota, Novo Holdings, Credit Suisse and Nysnø, a climate investment fund filing under the Norwegian Pension Fund Global, have combined laid around EUR 270m into 2150.
