Summit president says reaching goal will be like climbing mountain

Constructive negotiations are underway at the climate summit, but there's a long way to go, says Alok Sharma.

There's a mountain that must be climbed to meet the goal of climate summit COP26, though there is progress, says British minister Alok Sharma, president of the UN conference held in Glasgow, Scotland.

"We will keep the 1.5-degree goal within reach and alive. And that's what we'll work toward in the days the come," he says.
