German regulator halts Nord Stream 2 approval process

The approval procedure for gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 has been temporarily postponed in Berlin due to unfulfilled requirements.

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur, BNetzA) has suspended the approval process for disputed gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 going from Russia to Germany, the agency declares as cited by news agency AFP.
