Statnett to expedite upgrade between south and north

The Norwegian TSO aims to even out differences in electricity prices between Northern and Southern Norway by speeding up the development of the electrical grid.

Large variations in electricity prices across Norway have been a headache for many in recent years. The solution to the problem is now planned to arrive a little earlier as a result of domestic transmission system operator Statnett preparing to roll out a fix to the poor transmission capacity between regions earlier than hitherto, writes E24.
