
In connection with last week’s presentation of the revised state budget, the Norwegian Petroleum and Energy Ministry informed that NOK 10m (EUR 1m) have been put aside for cultivating competences and gaining a better understanding of the nation’s electricity system.
”The power situation during the winter has shown that we need more knowledge on the links in the power market and how Norway is affected by changing energy markets. Proper investigations and analytical tools are vital in the efforts to further develop the Norwegian power supply in the short and long term,” says Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Aasland in a press release.
