RWE criticizes Repower EU

The German utility is concerned that elements of the new EU plans will end up curtailing the roll-out of hydrogen and that Repower EU could potentially run counter to the entire purpose of emissions trading.

A little less than a week ago, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen presented a new plan intended to break Europe free from Russian energy. Since then, the plan has received much praise, but now German utility RWE gives a blunt assessment of the matter.
