Project Greensand praises new "cutting-edge" Danish-Belgian CO2 deal

The new agreement marks an important step toward enabling storage of 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ annually from 2025, says project director.

The consortium behind Project Greensand is well satisfied with a deal between Denmark, Belgium and Flanders about sailing CO₂ from the nation on the English Channel to the Scandinavian country for the purpose of permanent sequestration.
