Dutch university investigating Danish CMSR firm's nuclear tech

Researchers from the Netherlands’ Delft University of Technology will spend the next 12 months examining Seaborg Technologies’ small molten salt reactor design.

Seaborg Technologies has initiated a one-year collaboration with the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, whereby two of the university’s researchers, Associate Professor Anna Smith and Postdoctoral Researcher Lukasz Ruszczynsk, will take a closer look at the physiochemistry behind the molten salt technology meant for use in the Danish company’s small modular reactors, designed for marine deployment upon barges.
