EU Presidency airs lowering gas price cap further
In an attempt to reach a compromise ahead an extraordinary meeting of EU energy ministers, the Czechian EU Presidency now suggests a lower price ceiling.

Czechia’s EU Presidency, currently leading negotiations on a union-wide price ceiling on natural gas– a measure the EU Commission calls a ”market correction mechanism” – now proposes a lower upper price threshold for the fuel.
