Spain and France planning new interconnector

With installation planned concurrently with development of a hydrogen pipeline between the two nations, France and Spain will lay a new electrical interconnector through the Mediterranean. Preliminary assessments are underway.

Following a joint decision taken in December about reserving a new natural gas line coupling Barcelona to Marseille exclusively for hydrogen, further plans now coalesce to connect the energy systems of Spain and France, reports Euractiv.
