Council on climate change: Nuclear power unnecessary in Denmark

The Danish Council on Climate Change presents new analysis of the future power supply, deeming nuclear power as an economically unfavorable solution.

In recent years, several significant Danish industry actors have pushed the nuclear power agenda. Including chair of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Lars Rebien, who in an interview from back in January called for putting an end to the nuclear power taboo and instead propel Denmark to a leading nation within nuclear power developments as the clean energy source of the future.
