Vestas' electrolysis venture receives EUR 15m

Australian electrolysis startup Hysata, and its 95% efficiency claim, is opening a new government-backed plant.

It’s not only Vestas that sees the appeal of Hysata’s electrolysis concept. The Australian startup, which the wind turbine manufacturer invested in last year via Vestas Ventures, has now received AUD 20.3m (EUR 12m) from the state-owned renewable energy agency, Arena, as well as a further AUD 3m (EUR 1.7m) from the Queensland state-owned electricity company Stanwell.
