CIP to commence Indian wind project with Chinese turbines

The infrastructure fund makes its first final investment decision on the 1.8GW framework agreement with an Indian project developer and makes its final investment decision on a 300MW wind project.

One year after CIP entered into a partnership with Indian project developer Viviid, the final investment decision (FID) has been made. Through the company’s first emerging market fund, the construction of the 300MW Hatalageri onshore wind farm in the state of Karnataka, India, can now commence. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
