Maersk Oil has released 42 tons of illegal chemicals in the ocean

Maersk has systematically violated its permits and misinformed the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. Danish PM plans to report Maersk to the police.

Danish media DR reports that Maersk Oil has potentially polluted the North Sea more than the company originally told authorities.

Environmental spokesperson from Danish opposition party The Red-Green Alliance (Enhedslisten in Danish), Maria Gjerding, is calling for Maersk Oil to be reported to the police for its chemical discharge in the North Sea.
